I started my career as a PhD job search coach back in 2013. Over the years, I’ve
- worked 1-on-1 with individual clients, including graduate students, tenured professors, and everyone around and in between;
- organized multiple virtual career conferences, mainly about the non-academic job search; and
- delivered dozens of presentations and facilitated many in-person and online workshops for graduate students, postdocs, and other graduate degree holders.
I like doing this work and know I’ve helped countless folks more effectively navigate the job market and secure meaningful work. (*pats self on back* 😊)
Next up for me is offering a self-paced online course. It’s for PhDs who want to get clear on their career path so they can confidently market themselves for jobs they actually want.
I built the course over the spring and summer, and a couple dozen folks have already been through it. I’m grateful for their early participation; I’ve learned a lot from interacting with them in our community and during Zoom drop-ins. The live meetings are crucial to getting specific questions answered and quick coaching to move past blocks.
The course is now very nearly ready to go out to the masses! (Exciting! Scary!)
I’ll let you know when I’m ready to launch. At that point, I’ll have a new webinar (interactive presentation) you can sign up for to get my best free advice and learn more about the full program.
Know anyone else who might benefit from hearing from me about this? Have them check out my free training first.
